The Worst Seat In Spurs' New Stadium Has Been Found

Tottenham Hotspur's brand spanking new stadium may be the best in the Premier League by a country but it's not quite perfect.

Today the club held the first of two 'test events' for fans to check out the ground, with Spurs' Under 18's side kicking off the new era with a 3-1 win over Southampton that was watched by 28,987 supporters.

But the event did uncover a shocking view one particular fan had to contend with in the bleachers.

Given that the cheapest season ticket in the stadium is £795 for adults, £595 for young adults and £397.50 for young children, while the most expensive is a whopping £1,995, one would expect better.

But we most stress that this issue should not detract from a truly wonderful stadium that Spurs now call their home ground.

The 62,000 capacity stadium has set the club back a whopping £1 billion - and it took an absolute age to finally open it - but it looks every bit of the "world class sports and entertainment destination" description it has been given.

Two massive LED screens have been installed to add to the experience but the one thing that has Spurs supporters most excited is the 17,500 capacity single-tier stand - the biggest in the UK.

It's the definition of "modern stadia", with a key feature being the world's first ever retractable pitch whereby one surface can slide out and allow for a different kind of football game to take place in the stadium.

Spurs have signed a 10-year partnership with the NFL and will host regular season games at the ground.

Bars inside the concourse will only accept cashless payment but fans do have the pleasure of seeing the 'magic' beer filling up from the bottom of the cup.

Thoughts on Spurs' new stadium? Is it one of the best you've ever seen?
