Luis Suarez sends his support to stricken Ajax starlet Nouri

After Ajax midfielder Appie Nouri was confirmed as suffering from serious and permanent brain damage while playing for the club, Luis Suarez sent is kindest regards.

As a former player of the Dutch giants, Suarez posted a photo of himself and Klaas Jan Huntelaar alongside the 20-year-old, when he was a small child.

"Very sorry because of what happened with Appie, we are with you," he wrote.

"Stay strong."
