Snapped: Juan Mata picks up friends from hotel night before Man Utd jet off to USA

The Spanish midfield ace will be heading off to the USA for his club's pre-season tour tomorrow, with the first match taking place against LA Galaxy next Sunday.

He seemed to be making the most of his last evening in Manchester by picking up some friends from the Lowry Hotel - where manager Jose Mourinho lives and players routinely meet ahead of matches.

Mata enjoyed a decent campaign under Mourinho last season, scoring 10 goals in 42 matches, despite fears that the Special One would ship him out as he had done at Chelsea in 2014.
