Alvaro Morata has been enjoying his honeymoon in the Seychelles with his new wife Alice after tying the knot with his long-term girlfriend last week.

The Spain striker's future has been a relentless source of speculation in recent days amid reports that he could be set to link up with Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.

Morata has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United as Mourinho looks to bolster his attacking options at Old Trafford ahead of his second season in charge at the club.

However, it would seem that the 24-year-old forward has been enjoying some time away from football – and he looks to be enjoying himself.

Morata posted the selfie above of himself with his new wife on his personal Instagram account on Friday and wrote the caption: ''Enjoying paradise!!!''

Manchester United are thought to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as the Red Devils prepare for a return to the Champions League next season.

Morata's situation as been a source of speculation because of his lack of playing time at Real Madrid last term.
