Florentino and Zidane will meet to resolve Ronaldo's future

Following the shocking revelation that Cristiano Ronaldo could depart the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, Zinedine Zidane will cut short his vacation to meet with president Florentino Perez and decide on the player's future, amongst other things.
Despite having set off for Italy to enjoy his holidays following his second Champions League triumph with Real Madrid last month, the Frenchman will return to Spain.
Before leaving, Zidane had been clear in his assertions for the make up of his side next season.
"I want everyone to continue," he said, though it seems clear that Perez wants the situations surrounding Ronaldo, James Rodriguez and Alvaro Morata resolved imminently.
The pair, and club CEO Jose Angel Sanchez, will also be tasked with the challenge of deciding on player ins and outs ahead of the upcoming season.
With Pepe's replacement Jesus Vallejo returning from Eintracht Frankfurt and Theo Hernandez's services almost secured from rivals Atletico Madrid, the priority is now set; securing the signature of Kylian Mbappe, providing Morata leaves.
Zidane has already attempted to change Morata's mind but that appears to have been unsuccessful, and the striker, alongside teammate Mariano Diaz, could be destined for the Premier League.
The Madrid coach will also be aware of the possible departure of James even though the Frenchman would prefer to keep him.
Zidane is now poised to speak to Mbappe's father ahead of a potential move, whilst reassuring Ronaldo of his position at the club.
