Turan ready for Barca transition

Arda Turan has revealed he is up to the difficult challenge of adapting to Barcelona's possession-based style of play following his move from La Liga rivals Atletico Madrid.
The Turkey international, who was officially unveiled at the Camp Nou on Friday, will not be able to make his Barcelona debut until the club's transfer embargo is lifted in January.
Despite this, the 28-year-old is confident he can make the transition from Atleti's physical approach to Barcelona's controlled and measured style.
"I will be playing in a new system and I think I can adapt to it," he said.
"It will not be easy but I hope to have a good transition."
Turan became a star of Diego Simeone's tough Atletico side after arriving in Spain from Galatasaray in 2011.
He will now play behind Barca's formidable attacking trio of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez in a team noted for its attacking flair, skill and passing-based game.
Turan revealed he turned down interest from a number of clubs in favour of a move to the reigning European champions, where he signed a five-year deal without hesitation.
A club statement confirmed Barcelona would pay an initial fee of £24.5m with a potential £5m more in bonuses.
Turan's transfer has still to be ratified by the club's new board after members elect a new president on July 18.
As mentioned, he will not be able to make his debut until Barcelona serve out the remained of their FIFA transfer ban over alleged violations of rules on signing minors.
