Teenager turns down $10k to meet Neymar

Rhiannon Conelly is what you might call a true football fan. The 16-year-old American girl has turned down a cheque for $10,000 in order to meet Neymar in person.
The teenager was victorious in a competition run by Brazilian soft-drink firm "Guarana Antartica" during the World Cup. The goalkeeper submitted a photo in which she was wearing a Neymar shirt and performed kick-ups, which was one of over 2,000 entries.
The football mad high school junior did not hesitate when it came to choosing between a cash prize of $10,000 or a trip to Spain to meet the Brazilian star. "I just wanted to meet Neymar, I thought that was more important than the $10,000. Everyone disagrees with that, but I'm sticking to my guns".
When asked about what she would say to the 22-year-old, Connelly jokingly answered that she would ask him to marry her, before adding that "I don't want to scare him too much".
