DESPITE breaking off their engagement on Twitter for the world to see, it doesn't look like David McIntosh is really getting the memo Kelly Brook is trying to send.

The model, 34, sent a pretty clear message when she ditched the 28-year-old Celebrity Big Brother reject last month.

And while he's happy to pose with sexy US model Metisha Schaefer is a bid to convince fans he's adjusting to single life – Kelly's phone tells a different story.

Currently in Los Angeles filming new sitcom One Big Happy, Ms Brook's mobile has been vibrating nonstop thanks to her dumped fiancé – she even posted a screenshot of 16 missed calls.

Come on David, take the hint. No-one is that busy.

Mr McIntosh may be keen to appear he's moved swiftly on to the Kim Kardashian lookalike, but it seems his heart – and mounting phone bill – still lies with Kelly.

Ms Brook sent the image to David's apparent new love interest along with the tweet: "@Metisha????! Today!!!! Err babes he's all yours lose my number DMac." Ouch.

But it turns out the public naming and shaming didn't deter Tornado's valiant/humiliating attempts to win back his lady.

Kelly hinted that his calls had continued throughout the night when she posted: "FaceTime Fun again this morning!!! Relentless."

The couple originally split amid rumours that the Gladiator star had been caught out with his ex-girlfriend.

Although David denied cheating on his former wife-to-be, the damage was done for the lads' mag favourite.

Sources in Los Angeles reported seeing Kelly house hunting in the local area – it looks as though she wants to cut ties with him forever.
