ARSENAL’S £20million move for Gonzalo Higuain has stalled because of Real Madrid’s managerial merry-go-round.
The Argie striker, 25, is refusing to make any decisions on his future until a successor to Jose Mourinho is confirmed.
Paris Saint-Germain chief Carlo Ancelotti is the favourite for the job.
The Gunners are locked in a battle with Italian side Juventus for Higuain.
Boss Arsene Wenger has been promised a £70m transfer war chest.
Manchester United’s unsettled superstar Wayne Rooney has also been linked with a switch to Arsenal but that deal is a long way off.
Meanwhile, the Gunners face competition from Italian giants AC Milan for QPR keeper Julio Cesar.
The relegated Hoops are keen to get the Brazil shot-stopper, 33, off the wage bill.
Cesar won five Serie A titles with city rivals Inter.
