Bournemouth could have full-back Adam Smith back from a hamstring problem for the visit of Norwich.
Fellow defender Chris Mepham pulled out of international duty with Wales because of a calf injury, but is expected to be involved.
Midfielder Dan Gosling (hip) continues his recovery, along with winger Junior Stanislas (hamstring), left-back Charlie Daniels (knee) and winger David Brooks (ankle).
Norwich will have goalkeeper Tim Krul, midfielders Alex Tettey and Tom Trybull and winger Onel Hernandez all back from injury lay-offs.
Ben Godfrey had a successful hernia operation over the international break, so will also be involved, but fellow centre-half Grant Hanley is set for up to eight weeks out following groin surgery.
Jamal Lewis, Kenny McLean and Todd Cantwell have all been passed fit after being forced out of international duty. Ralf Fahrmann (groin), Mario Vrancic (calf), Christoph Zimmermann (foot) and Timm Klose (knee) continue their rehabilitation.
