Stevenage consider changes for Grimsby clash

Stevenage interim boss Mark Sampson could be tempted into changes for his side’s home game against Grimsby.
Jamie Fielding, Arthur Iontton and Tyler Denton started in the midweek EFL Trophy win at Wycombe and Ben Nugent, Tom Soares and Ben Kennedy are pushing for recalls after making way.
Sampson will check on midfielder Joel Byrom, who has missed the last six games in all competitions through injury, and defender Luther James-Wildin.
Stevenage, bottom of the table after 12 matches, are chasing their first league win of the season.
Grimsby winger Max Wright has been ruled out for three weeks after sustaining a thigh injury in last week’s home defeat to Mansfield.
Swedish centre-half Ludvig Ohman (groin) remains sidelined, but could return to action in next week’s home game against Leyton Orient.
Boss Michael Jolley made seven changes for the midweek EFL Trophy defeat at Sunderland and is expected to make plenty more again.
Defender Luke Waterfall, midfielder Jake Hessenthaler and striker James Hanson are among those expected to be back in the starting XI.
