Northampton boss Curle waiting on Martin injury news

Northampton manager Keith Curle is hoping for some good news on the injury front ahead of Saturday’s game with Salford.
Defender Joe Martin suffered a hamstring injury in last weekend’s loss at Scunthorpe and the club are awaiting the results of a scan on the problem.
Midfielder Ryan Watson could be out for a further six to eight weeks even though the operation on his broken collarbone went well.
Long-term absentee Sean Whaler is edging closer to a comeback after returning to training on the grass.
Salford manager Graham Alexander faces a selection dilemma ahead of the trip to Sixfields.
Defender Nathan Pond is available again after missing last week’s win over Cambridge as he made his international debut for Montserrat.
However, Sam Hughes performed well in Pond’s place and will be hoping his part in the 1-0 victory is enough to maintain his position in the starting XI.
Alexander has no fresh injury concerns as he looks to guide City to a third straight win.
