Swedish defender Ludvig Ohman is in contention to start Grimsby’s Sky Bet League Two match at home to Leyton Orient.
Ohman has been out with a groin problem but has returned to training this week.
Ahkeem Rose is in contention to start in attack after an impressive cameo saw him score his first league goal of the season against Stevenage last weekend.
Max Wright remains sidelined with a thigh injury but there are no fresh injuries.
Ross Embleton will take charge of Leyton Orient for the final time, with new man Carl Fletcher watching on from the stands.
Fletcher was handed a two-year contract to take over as permanent manager on Wednesday, with Embleton having filled in on an interim basis since the sudden death of Justin Edinburgh in June.
Jobi McAnuff could come into contention as he nears a return following surgery on a groin injury while James Dayton appeared as a stoppage-time substitute last week after an ankle problem.
Conor Wilkinson is suspended following his late red card in the 3-1 win over Walsall.
