Nathan Thompson absent for Posh

Peterborough will again be without defender Nathan Thompson for the Sky Bet League One match against Lincoln.

Right-back Thompson has missed the past two league matches with a groin injury and continues his recovery.

Posh manager Darren Ferguson could consider changes after seeing his side throw away a 2-0 half-time lead as Wycombe fought back to draw 3-3 last weekend.

Midfielder Alex Woodyard, a former Imp, and left-back Dan Butler are pushing for recalls

Lincoln boss Michael Appleton has confirmed ex-Posh defender Michael Bostwick will be assessed after a setback on his return to training from a calf problem.

Tom Pett has stepped up his recovery from knee and back problems, so could be involved.

Fellow midfielder Lee Frecklington, though, is still a few weeks away from a potential return from a groin injury.

Defender Ben Coker continues his recovery from a long-term knee problem.
