Brentford midfielder Sergi Canos to miss Millwall clash with knee injury

Brentford will be without midfielder Sergi Canos for Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship home match with Millwall.
The 22-year-old suffered a serious knee injury during the latter stages of a 1-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest two weeks ago and will be sidelined for a lengthy period of time.
Canos’ absence could result in young midfielder Dru Yearwood getting an opportunity to be part of the matchday squad after featuring for the club’s B-team recently.
Pontus Jansson will hope to be fit enough to start for the Bees after being ruled out of Sweden’s Euro 2020 qualifying fixtures due to a slight knock.
Millwall will be without midfielder Ryan Leonard for the trip to Griffin Park.
The former Southend ace suffered a knee injury in the 2-1 win over Leeds at the start of this month.
Caretaker boss Adam Barrett confirmed Leonard “will be on the sidelines for a number of weeks” starting with Saturday’s match at Brentford.
Winger Jiri Skalak has returned to full training after a foot injury sustained in August.
