Lewa on Leroy
Robert Lewandowski has dropped a transfer bombshell.
The Bayern Munich striker has revealed that his colleagues are already looking forward to Manchester City’s Leroy Sane joining the club.
"Bayern's German players are now very much looking forward to Sane's signing, but we have to wait and see what is going on," said Lewandowski.
"[Robbern and Ribery] are legends, of course their departure is sad. But Bayern will also sign more and better replacements.
Philippe Coutinho unsure
Philippe Coutinho can’t clarify where he’ll be playing his football next season.
The Brazilian, who is currently on international duty in the Copa America, has been linked with Manchester United and PSG after a difficult season at the Nou Camp.
"I do not know. The future, nobody knows," Coutinho told reporters when asked if he will leave Barcelona.
"I am focused to play with the national team now."
'United should be in for Neymar'
Manchester United should be competing for the signature of Neymar this summer, claims talkSPORT host Adrian Durham.
Neymar’s future at Paris Saint-Germain is in doubt following comments from president Nasser Al-Khelaifi stating “nobody forced him to sign” for them two years ago.
“I don’t think he’d go to Man City, I don’t think they’d want him,” Durham. “I don’t think Liverpool would want him.
“But I do think a side like Manchester United should be in for Neymar.”
AWB fee agreed
Manchester United have struck a deal with Crystal Palace for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
That’s the claim of journalist Duncan Castles, who claim the Red Devils have agreed to pay £55million.
The reported £55m would constitute a world record fee paid for a ‘specialist full back’ adds the article in the Daily Record.
The 21-year-old enjoyed a remarkable breakthrough season at Selhurst Park and has also been linked with Premier League rivals Chelsea and Manchester City.
Paul Pogba swap interest
Juventus are ready to include one player in a potential swap deal involving Manchester United star Paul Pogba.
Italian outlet Calciomercato claim Juventus are willing to give up Douglas Costa to re-sign Pogba this summer.
Calciomercato add that Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has held talks with Juventus over a possible deal.
The Italian champions have told Costa the club intents to sell him before the start of next season.
Calciomercato say PSG are also tracking the Brazil international, however, Juventus are more interested in using Costa to land Pogba.
Antoine Griezmann to Liverpool backed
Liverpool should go all out to sign Antoine Griezmann this summer as he would help bridge the gap to Manchester City, says Craig Burley.
Barcelona are heavily linked with the France international’s signature but their president Josep Maria Bartomeu says no contact has been made with Atletico.
“I still think that Antoine Griezmann would be a fantastic addition to Liverpool,” Burley said. “Bearing in mind how well they did last year and how close they came to Manchester City.
“The quality that he would bring and to have somebody that can rotate with [Roberto] Firmino in that front three would be a fantastic addition.”
Man Utd plot third offer
Manchester United are working on a THIRD bid for Crystal Palace star Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The Red Devils have seen their opening two offers for Wan-Bissaka rejected - but Ed Woodward and the United hierarchy have a plan.
The Evening Standard claim United are prepared to offer an improved offer in the region of £45million with a further £5m in add-ons.
It’s claimed the Old Trafford club are relaxed with the increased fee because they are confident of making £10m from the sale of Matteo Darmian.
Aubameyang to Man Utd
Manchester United would have to offer at least £100million to get Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, says Jason Cundy.
Cundy was working alongside talkSPORT presenter Andy Goldstein on Monday night.
Goldstein revealed he has heard Manchester United are keen on signing Aubameyang this summer and a £70m offer is in the pipeline.
Cundy says that would not be enough money for Arsenal to let go their top scorer from last season.
“I would say, Aubameyang, there’s got to be three figures there, it’s got to be £100m,” Cundy said. “£70m? That’s not going to get him, no, that’s not going to get him.”
