10.50pm UPDATE: Joao Felix statement
Manchester United transfer target Joao Felix is NOT on the verge of signing for Atletico Madrid, according to his current club Benfica.
"In view of the set of news published in these last hours, Sport Lisboa e Benfica - Futebol, SAD clarifies that it is false that any negotiation process is currently under way regarding a possible transfer of player Joao Felix," read a statement from Benfica.
"More serious, and that deserves our most vehement repudiation and denial, is the false news that refers to negotiations that involve commissions of 30% and which, unfortunately, was echoed in Portugal by the newspaper A Bola, with intentions and goals that we do not know at all.
"We repeat: this information is totally false, absurd and has clearly intentional intentions for the reputation and dignity of Sport Lisboa e Benfica."

10:20pm UPDATE: West Ham stance on Man Utd target
Manchester United face disappointment in their pursuit of Issa Diop as they attempt to bolster their defence.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen on the Frenchman as he seeks to bolster his squad ahead of next season.
However, it looks as though United will have to strike him off their list of transfer targets.
Manchester-based BBC Sport reporter Simon Stone tweeted: ".@WestHamUtd no interest in selling Issa Diop to Man Utd or anyone else."

9:50pm UPDATE: Tottenham make transfer enquiry
Tottenham have got in touch with Fenerbahce regarding a potential deal to take Eljif Elmas to north London.
Mauricio Pochettino is set to test the market this summer having kept his powder dry for the past two windows.
And Turkish Football reckon Elmas has made his way on to the Spurs' boss wish list ahead of next season.
Tottenham are said to have made an enquiry to Fenerbahce having watched the midfielder three times last season.

9:20pm UPDATE: Chelsea decision on Willian bids
Chelsea winger Willian has been targeted by Atletico Madrid and Barcelona just days after Eden Hazard moved to Spain.
Hazard quit Stamford Bridge for Real Madrid, realising a childhood dream in the process of sealing the big-money switch.
Now Atletico and Barcelona want Willian to join him in La Liga, with Sky Sports reporting bids have been made.
The Spanish duo are both said to have offered £35m - with the respective proposals rejected as Chelsea attempt to keep their squad together.

8:20pm UPDATE: Liverpool will not sign Antoine Griezmann
Liverpool legend John Aldridge cannot see the Reds pushing the boat out to sign Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann.
"With Sturridge leaving the club and his huge wages coming off the weekly bill, it opens up the opportunity for Klopp to sign an out-and-out goalscorer who could offer something different if one of the front three is injured or out of form," Aldridge said.
"Antoine Griezmann has been mentioned as a possible target, but he would be a very expensive option as his transfer fee and wages would be extravagant for a player who would expect to start every week."
Griezmann is set to leave Atletico this summer, with Barcelona the anticipated destination for the French World Cup winner.

7:25pm UPDATE: Matthijs de Ligt to Man Utd?
Ray Parlour believes Manchester United are in with a chance of prising Barcelona target Matthijs de Ligt away from Ajax.
"He might want to play for Manchester United and play in the English league," Parlour said.
"You've got to sell the club to him and give him a massive contract, that's why he'd go there. Pay him more than he would get at Barcelona.
"They're the sort of players you need. Manchester United over the years have always had top quality centre-halves always, every single era."

6:55pm UPDATE: Paul Pogba blasted
Manchester United have been hurt as a brand because Paul Pogba suggested he wants out, claims former Liverpool ace Dean Saunders.
"That statement damages Man United," Saunders said. "It damages the share price, it damages the people who are paying to get on MUTV for example, people who are buying season tickets, people who are going to buy shirts with his name on and just slam the brakes on today: 'Oh hang on a minute, don't buy that shirt'.
"You think of it, all round the world, that damages Man United. It's not the first time he's done it and I don't know who's advising him or whether he's just doing it off his own back.
"He's come out and said the players' attitude and mind wasn't right against Brighton, he's winking when Mourinho got sacked as if to say 'there you go, I won that battle', there's constant rubbish coming out in the press."

6:30pm UPDATE: Frank Lampard to Chelsea backed
Frank Lampard is the man to replace Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea - not Massimiliano Allegri.
That is the opinion of Ray Parlour, who said: "He had a very good season at Derby. He could potentially be an excellent manager.
"There's one thing about Frank - he will get a chance. I think Frank would get much of a chance than Allegri. Allegri might not want the job because of the transfer ban.
"Obviously Frank and Jody Morris have worked with a lot of the youngsters at Chelsea, knows them very well. I think that they will go with Frank Lampard, I really do. I think he's showed enough in his first season at Derby."

6:10pm UPDATE: Rangers vs Celtic battle
Rangers have stolen a march on Celtic in the race to sign Joe Aribo by offering the midfielder a £20,000-a-week contract.
Aribo is available on a free transfer having run down his deal at Charlton, who are also struggling to tie down manager Lee Bowyer.
The Daily Mail reckon a lucrative proposal has been tabled to the midfielder, who is understood to have attracted interest from Arsenal and Manchester City.
Arigo dropped a hint over a potential switch to Rangers by asking former Ibrox ace Marcus Gayle, who managed him at Staines Town, about the Glasgow giants.

5:40pm UPDATE: Maurizio Sarri plots Chelsea raid
Chelsea duo Jorginho and Emerson Palmieri are wanted at Juventus by new Allianz Stadium gaffer Maurizio Sarri.
Sarri quit Chelsea for Juventus over the weekend after spending just 11 months in the Stamford Bridge hotseat.
He is eager to prise two stars away from the Blues in order to bolster the squad Massimiliano Allegri left behind.
The Times claim Sarri has urged Juventus chiefs to build on his arrival by launching bids for both Jorginho and Palmieri.

5:10pm UPDATE: Arsenal chiefs handed order
Arsenal hero Robert Pires wants Unai Emery to be given more than the £40m he has to spend this summer.
"If you want to build a good team, you need to spend a lot of money, especially in the Premier League," Pires said.
"I respect Arsenal's position and the owner, but everybody knows that if you want to win the Premier League, you need to spend a lot of money.
"All the top clubs want to sign great players, but if you want a great player it costs a lot of money."

4:40pm UPDATE: Paul Pogba wants to leave because of Liverpool
Paul Pogba is eager to quit Manchester United because of how far the Red Devils are adrift of Liverpool and Manchester City.
That is the opinion of former Premier League star Craig Burley, who said: "The reason is, one he's had a lot of stick, two the club doesn't seem to be going anywhere and three, they've named a manager who isn't [established] and they've not made any signings and don't look like they're going to be making much headway, certainly early in the transfer market.
"So therefore he's thinking: 'Well are we going to track down Liverpool and Man City or am I going to have another year of a couple of average signings? And everybody says: 'Paul Pogba's not playing well again'.'"

4:10pm UPDATE: Neymar to Man Utd
Manchester United are being touted as suitors for Neymar if the Brazil international calls it a day at Paris Saint-Germain.
Neymar is one of the most famous faces on the planet with legions of fans eager to set their sights on him on the flesh.
United supporters might do just that one day if Sport are to be believed, with Old Trafford supposedly a possible destination.
The Spanish newspaper reckon Neymar could head for Real Madrid or Juventus, but that a return to Barcelona would be a problem from a financial perspective.
