Hazard-Riquelme connection: Admiration, celebrations and a gifted shirt

West Ham United were Eden Hazard's latest victim on Monday evening as he scored a stunning solo effort and then another to help Chelsea to a 2-0 win.

After his first, when the No.10 had danced his way to goal by zig-zagging through the entire West Ham defence and midfield, the Belgian celebrated with his hands behind his ears in an imitation of a Juan Roman Riquelme celebration.

It's not the first time Hazard has shown his admiration of Riquelme. April 8 was the 18th anniversary of the first of those celebrations from the Argentine, which came after scoring against River Plate.

The week earlier, president Mauricio Macri had questioned the Argentine's renewal.

Riquelme has acknowledged Hazard's appreciation, too, sending him a signed Boca Juniors shirt.
