Manchester City are playing Brighton in the FA Cup semi-final as they continue their journey towards a possible quadruple.
It is City’s second visit to Wembley in a matter of months after they beat Chelsea there in the Carabao Cup final.
But the end which houses the City fans is far from full with Brighton’s number of fans far exceeding them.
The Premier League champions have benefitted from huge financial investment over the last decade and plenty of fans feel that has led to a lack of genuine followers.
"Embarrassing @ManCity can’t sell out their ticket allocation. And don’t give me this tripe about having to go to so many games and the cost,” said one.
"Man City's fan base is embarrassing empty seats in the #FACup semi final. Plastic club, supporting Brighton for this one,” claimed a second.
"Imagine Brighton have more fans at Wembley today than Man City #joke,” added a third.
"Man City is a tin pot club with tin pot fans,” said a fourth.

City have not won the FA Cup since Yaya Toure’s strike saw them beat Stoke City in 2011.
Pep Guardiola has failed in his two previous attempts - losing to Arsenal and Wigan.
But the Catalan is hoping it will be third time lucky.

City were usurped at the top of the Premier League by Liverpool after the Reds beat Southampton 3-1 on Friday night.
Guardiola’s side though do have a game in hand and can return to the summit.
The Premier League champions also face Spurs on Tuesday in the last eight of the Champions League.
