Gavin Whyte, Marcus Browne and Jamie Mackie are all expected to return to the Oxford squad for their League One clash with Scunthorpe.
Winger Whyte has missed the last two matches after sustaining a head injury against Peterborough earlier this month while Browne and Mackie both sat out the much-needed win over Blackpool last weekend with minor hamstring problems.
Midfielder Cameron Brannagan serves the second of a two-match suspension after collecting 10 yellow cards this season.
Rob Hall, Jon Obika and Shandon Baptiste all remain sidelined, while Ivo Pekalski has left the club.
Olufela Olomola will hope to have forced his way into the Scunthorpe starting line-up.
The 21-year-old striker replaced George Thomas with 33 minutes remaining during the draw with Doncaster last weekend and impressed.
Lee Novak came through 90 minutes unscathed after missing the defeat by Gillingham with a knock while Matthew Lund remains sidelined after undergoing knee surgery.
Scunthorpe go into the match five points above Oxford and seven clear of the relegation zone.
