Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur - Sarri still mulling over goalkeeper decision
Posted Wednesday, February 27, 2019 by PA
Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri is yet to decide whether to include goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga in his team for Wednesday’s Premier League clash with Tottenham.
Sarri says he will take the best decision for his team after Kepa was fined one week’s wages for his refusal to be substituted in Sunday’s Carabao Cup final with Manchester City, which the Blues lost on penalties, so Willy Caballero could come in.
Emerson Palmieri has been preferred to Marcos Alonso at left-back of late and could continue, with Sarri likely to stick by his first-choice line-up and resist changes.
Tottenham are still without Dele Alli and Eric Dier.
Alli is on the comeback trail from a hamstring injury while his England team-mate Dier is laid low with tonsillitis.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has no other concerns for the visit to Stamford Bridge.
