Swansea skipper Leroy Fer has suffered a setback in his recovery from injury and will miss the home game with Bolton.
The Holland midfielder damaged a hamstring in the home draw with Birmingham at the end of January and faces a few more weeks on the sidelines.
Jay Fulton and Wayne Routledge could return to the starting line-up as manager Graham Potter ponders changes following the 3-1 defeat at Sheffield Wednesday.
Long-term absentees Martin Olsson (Achilles) and Joe Rodon (metatarsal) remain out.
Bolton are without Jason Lowe as the midfielder begins a two-match ban for collecting 10 bookings in the Sky Bet Championship.
Irish teenager Luca Connell is back in contention after illness and fellow defender Andrew Taylor has also returned to the training ground this week.
Marc Wilson (hamstring) could miss out again, while Remi Matthews will continue to deputise in goal with Ben Alnwick still troubled by a knee problem.
Bolton’s pre-match preparations have been hit by their players and staff not receiving February’s wages on time.
