Veteran striker Alex Revell is in contention to make a Stevenage return at home to Crawley.
The 35-year-old saw his game-time limited over the festive period, but Stevenage boss Dino Maamria says Revell is now refreshed following his break from the starting line-up.
Midfielders Joel Byrom (groin) and Michael Timlin (thigh) are doubtful for the Sky Bet League Two fixture, while Dan Newton will also be assessed after the forward picked up a knock in the 2-0 defeat at Cambridge last weekend.
Forwards Kurtis Guthrie and Alex Reid remain unavailable through suspension, the latter serving the final game of his three-match ban.
Crawley hope to welcome back Filipe Morais with the Reds enjoying their best form of the season.
The Portuguese midfielder has missed the last eight games after hand surgery was followed by an Achilles problem, but the 33-year-old has trained this week and could be included in the matchday party.
New signing Tom Dallison will be in the squad as the defender’s second Crawley stint gets underway.
But defender Joe McNerney serves the second of his three-game ban as the Reds seek to improve on an unbeaten three-match run which has brought them seven points from nine.
