Bury manager Ryan Lowe is likely to make changes for the visit of MK Dons.
There were four alterations for the midweek Checkatrade Trophy win over Accrington and Lowe is likely to bring back some of his first-choices.
It means the likes of Will Aimson, Nick Adams, Neil Danns and Nicky Maynard will all be restored.
However, striker Dom Telford scored twice on Tuesday to boost his chances of retaining his place.
MK Dons midfielder Ryan Harley has made his first competitive appearance since an ankle injury ruled him out in the second game of the season, between these two sides.
The midfielder played 45 minutes for the under-23s as he steps up his comeback.
Midfielder Aidan Nesbitt and goalkeeper Wieger Sietsma have both departed in the last week.
Dons have ended their interest in Coventry defender Chris Camwell, who has been training with the club recently, while Paul Tisdale has approached Cardiff about having Rhys Healey back for another loan spell after nine goals in 21 appearances before his return to Wales.
