The pressure was on Liverpool at Selhurst Park on Monday night.
Liverpool have been singled out by many pundits as being the likeliest challengers to Man City for this season's title.
For the record, it's been six years since Liverpool last lifted a trophy. While the Reds have never won the title in the Premier League era.
Man City battered Huddersfield Town 6-1 on Sunday.
However Liverpool kept up with the Sky Blues with a 2-0 win at Crystal Palace.
A James Milner penalty just before the interval was key for Jurgen Klopp's men.
Sadio Mane wrapped up the win in second half injury time.
Tottenham fans vs Mohamed Salah
Mohamed Salah was the assist-maker for Liverpool in south London.
Salah won the penalty in the first half for the Reds when he hit the deck after a challenge from Mamadou Sakho.
Salah also lead the charge for Liverpool's second goal at the death.
Moreover, Salah was fouled by Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the second period which lead to the Crystal Palace defender's red card.
But did Salah cheat against the Eagles?
The Egyptian has come in for criticism that he dived against Palace.
After the game Roy Hodgson made it plain he felt Liverpool's penalty was unjust. The inference was clear from Hodgson that Salah cheated his way to the spot-kick.
And Tottenham fans have also taken aim at Salah.
Why? Because Tottenham fans regularly hear that the likes of Dele Alli and Harry Kane are divers and cheaters.
