The adult scenes were shown on screens in the newly refurbished clubhouse and bars after someone got hold of the TV remote.

Fans were quick to tweet amusing images of the televisions showing models posing in their bras.

Alongside one video, a fan posted: "When the football#s so bad they put Babestation on at half-time."

Another wrote: "TV screens in the West Stand showing Babestation. Might stay having a cider lads."

A fellow supporter said: "Someone has stole the controller to the TV in the Rovers bar and turned it over to Babestation."

One comment read: "Someone's put Babestation on in the new bar."

Another tweeted: "Someone got hold of the TV remote for @Official_BRFC's big screen in the bar and switched it from Sky Sports News to Babestation.

"I love this club."

One supporter who filmed the comical scenes later put up another clip claiming to show the culprit.

He wrote alongside footage of a young man being talked to by security: "Update: found the boy responsible!

"Looks like he's a Fortnite regular. Getting banned. Steward even pulled out the 'your parents will be proud' card! Scenes."

Rovers later issued a statement that read: "The club believes that someone that was attending in the bar was using a universal remote device to affect the TV output.

"The matter will be fully investigated, however the club believes that they have photographic evidence of the individual concerned and they will be dealt with appropriately."

Rovers won 2-1 through goals from Kyle Bennett and Ollie Clarke with Crawley's Mark Connolly netting a late consolation.
