Antoine Griezmann Gives Incredible Gift To Atletico Teammates After Super Cup Win

Antoine Griezmann felt Atletico Madrid's stunning 4-2 UEFA Super Cup win over Real Madrid need to be commemorated in special fashion and so he's had glitzy rings made for the whole squad.
Diego Simeone's side beat the Champions League winners in extra time over in Estonian capital Tallinn, with Saul Niguez and Koke both bagging after the scores were 2-2 once 90 minutes was up.
And just a day after the Europa League winners kicked off the new campaign with a trophy, Griezmann showed off the special customized Atleti 'Superbowl' style rings on his Instagram story. He's a big fan of American sports like NBA and NFL, where this type of gift is very common.

The former Real Sociedad lobbied to try and get special France diamond-encrusted rings to mark their second World Cup triumph but it appears as though the French Football federation didn't adhere to his request.

Although he didn't manage to get it with his country, I'm sure you'll agree the Atleti ones are beautiful and will no doubt have been greatly appreciated by his teammates.
Of course he isn't the first to treat his peers. In May 2017 after Chelsea won the league under Antonio Conte, David Luiz splashed out on luxury bracelets for his colleagues to celebrate their big success.
