Dele Alli launches his own clothes line.. and reveals ultimate fashion faux pas

SunSport grabbed an exclusive chat with the England midfielder and discovered he's still haunted by one particular fashion disaster

DELE Alli has revealed his greatest fashion faux pas - and it's something that continues to haunt him.

SunSport caught up with the Tottenham ace at last night's launch of his boohooMAN clothing range at the Radio Rooftop Bar in London.

And the stylish midfielder admitted that he didn't always get it right when it came to his choice of clobber.

In a MySpace profile picture selfie that surfaced back in 2015, a young Dele was seen wearing a fluorescent cardigan over a bright pink T-shirt.

He accessorized the look with a pair of oversized shades in the snap taken in a bathroom.

It's a look that Dele, 22, admitted he still regrets.

"Yeah, my fashion disaster is one that I think everyone knows about," Dele told us exclusively at the bash.

"It's my old MySpace picture. That was a bad one."

Dele's new threads were released on boohoo's website yesterday.

The fashion line features everything from skinny ripped jeans to trendy satin varsity jackets.

He said that some of his team-mates have already asked him for items from his range because they want to be as fashionable as him.

"They want some (of the clothes)," he joked.

"The players all have different styles, but a lot of them want to look like me, so..."

Dele divulged how the partnership with boohoo came to fruition and was impressed they gave him free reign to design what he wanted.

"Boohoo came to me and I met up with the creative team," he said.
"They were willing to do everything I wanted to do.

"So I think it was a great opportunity to have an insight into the fashion world and be a part of it.

"We sat down, we went through a lot of the things I like, bringing in the materials we wanted to use.

"We talked for a while and they really listened to me.

"It's boohooMAN by Dele, so I wanted to make it something I'd wear and what I'd like to wear."

The style of Dele's range is a homage to 80s and 90s retro rock looks similar to what the fashionista would wear.

That was a key factor for the England ace in getting involved in the first place, and he was adamant it had to be reasonably priced for fans wanting to dress like him.

"I styled it on the sort of fashion I wear and what I like to look at," he told us.
"That was the main reason why I wanted to do it.

"Boohoo produce amazing clothes, and I think what we've produced is an amazing collection, in my opinion.

"It's what I would want to wear and it is affordable, which is great."

Dele was joined by a number of his Spurs team-mates at the star-studded party, as well as his stunning Wag Ruby Mae.

Kieran Trippier, Mousa Dembele, Jan Vertonghen, Michel Vorm, Harry Winks, Ben Davies, Eric Dier and Kyle Walker-Peters all offered their support for their pal.

Boxing champ Anthony Joshua stopped by to pose for snaps with the man of the hour, as did rapper Wretch32.

Hip-hop star Not3s, who performed his hit Addison Lee, entertained the revellers during the six-hour party.

But it was Dele's night to shine as fashion's latest famous collaborator.
