Jubilant Chloe joked to her Twitter followers that her shopping trips are going to be a lot more difficult now she is a top-flight Wag.

She tweeted: "FML. Now I'm a premiership WAG does it mean I'll have to put make up on to go to Tesco?"

One replied: "Tesco? Only M&S for you now."

While another complimented Chloe on being grounded, commenting: "This is what you call a Cardiff player's wife - down to earth."

After the promotion, PFA Team of the Year centre-back Bamba, 33, said: "We feel great, to be fair, we are still in dreamland and we are all celebrating at the minute and enjoying ourselves.

"It means everything because I have been in this country for a while now and we all want to play at the top level.

"The Premier League is the top level and I'm looking forward to that.

"For now though, we want to just enjoy ourselves.

"I just stood there and the fans came up to me. It was nice and I wanted to get involved because it's a special moment and a memory that I'll have forever."
