Steven N'Zonzi wishes PSG move had gone ahead

Sevilla midfielder Steven N'Zonzi has expressed his regret in not completing a move to hometown club Paris Saint-Germain last summer.
The 29-year-old, who grew up in La Garenne-Colombes, a commune in the northwestern suburbs of Paris, sees his present deal with Los Nervionenses expire in June 2020.
Since joining from Stoke City in the summer of 2015 he's become integral to their fortunes. Due to his good form, he was heavily linked with the Ligue 1 powerhouse before this season, but a move never came close to fruition.
"It would have been nice. They [PSG] have a great team," he told Canal Football Club.
"I would have played in Ligue 1. After that, I'm Parisian, and like all Parisians, it's nice to play for your hometown team.
"It would have been a good thing, but it did not happen."
N'Zonzi's season in La Liga by the numbers
N'Zonzi has featured inconsistently this season, having played in 18 of Sevilla's opening 27 matches in La Liga.
In those outings, he's won 61% of his duels, including 10 of his attempted 11 duels and though N'Zonzi has not scored a goal the former Blackburn Rovers man has created six chances.
However, his strength remains his passing, having registered an 88% pass accuracy with 65.1% of his 1216 passes going forward to a teammate.
