Doncaster midfielder James Coppinger is poised to make his 500th appearance for the club in their home game against Charlton.
Coppinger, 37, has struggled with tendonitis in recent seasons, but has been a regular again for boss Darren Ferguson this season.
Ferguson will be without Mathieu Baudry (hamstring) but the defender is expected to be back quicker than expected and could return in next weekend’s home game against Fleetwood.
Midfielder Lee McCullough (knee) and striker Alex Kiwomya (illness) both returned from long-term absences off the bench last week and are expected to feature, but Andy Butler, Joe Wright and Andy Williams are all still out.
Charlton are without Stephy Mavididi for eight weeks after he injured his left hamstring in last Saturday’s 3-2 defeat by Oxford.
Nicky Ajose could come into contention with the forward due to return to training following a groin injury. Jason Pearce is also back in training following a knee injury but he will not be considered.
Naby Sarr is expected to return to training next week after a hamstring problem.
Billy Clarke is a long-term absentee having ruptured his anterior cruciate ligaments.
