Swansea City vs Notts County - Swansea hit by injury crisis ahead of FA Cup clash
Posted Tuesday, February 06, 2018 by PA
Swansea are severely depleted for their FA Cup fourth-round replay at home to Notts County.
Leroy Fer (Achilles) and Wilfried Bony (cruciate ligament) will not play again this season after being injured at Leicester on Saturday, while new signings Andre Ayew and Andy King are both cup-tied.
Renato Sanches (hamstring) remains out, with Angel Rangel and Leon Britton both suffering setbacks in their recoveries from groin injuries.
Mason Bennett is not eligible to play for Notts County.
The young striker, on loan from Derby, arrived at the League Two club after the original tie on January 27 so he is unable to feature. The same applies to Brighton defender Ben Hall.
Terry Hawkridge was absent from the squad on Saturday but the midfielder may return to the squad at the Liberty Stadium.
Goalkeeper Ross Fitzsimons is nearing a return from injury but the league game at Barnet at the weekend is a more likely return target.
