Gillingham should have midfielder Lee Martin fit from a calf problem for the Sky Bet League One match against Peterborough, but defender Alex Lacey will again miss out with an ankle injury.
Midfielder Lee Martin came off during the second half of the defeat at Wigan with a calf strain, but is expected to be available.
Scott Wagstaff is closing in on a return from a troublesome hamstring problem, while new signings Navid Nasseri and Rhys Murphy could also come into contention.
Midfielder Billy Bingham (broken ankle) continues his rehabilitation, along with long-term absentee Aaron Morris (knee).
Peterborough will be without defender Alex Penny, who is set for a spell out with a dislocated shoulder.
Midfielder Michael Doughty is available again following illness.
Striker Omar Bogle has enjoyed a full week of training having made his debut following a deadline-day loan move from Cardiff, so should lead the attack.
Gwion Edwards is recovering from an ankle injury, while forward Ricky Miller has moved on loan to Mansfield.
