Shrewsbury face Plymouth without suspended goalkeeper

Shrewsbury goalkeeper Dean Henderson remains banned for the visit of Plymouth.

The on-loan Manchester United man completes a three-game suspension after being found guilty of improper conduct in the 3-1 defeat at Blackburn last month.

Objects were thrown towards the goalkeeper and other Town players, and it was suggested Henderson threw them back into the crowd.

Defender Junior Brown continues his recovery from a cruciate knee ligament injury.

Plymouth striker Simon Church will be available despite lasting just half an hour of Tuesday’s Central League South defeat by Cheltenham.

The 30-year-old, who has struggled for fitness in recent seasons, was withdrawn from the reserve team fixture as a precaution and will hope to build upon his two first-team appearances as a substitute since his arrival from Scunthorpe last month.

Keeper Kyle Letheren also played against Cheltenham as he steps up his recovery from a thigh injury and could now be ready to return to the senior squad.

West Ham midfielder Moses Makasi was an unused substitute for last Saturday’s 2-0 home win over Blackburn and will be hoping his debut arrives this weekend.
