New Grimsby signings Easah Suliman and Simeon Jackson will go straight into the squad for their home game against Cheltenham.
Defender Suliman and forward Jackson, signed on loan from Aston Villa and Walsall respectively, could both make their debuts for the club.
Boss Russell Slade will be without suspended pair Mitch Rose and Karleigh Osborne, who were both sent off in the midweek defeat at Yeovil.
Recent signing Malik Wilks is pushing for his first start, while injured goalkeeper Jake Kean will be assessed, with Ben Killip on stand-by.
Cheltenham manager Gary Johnson could hand debuts to Jake Andrews and Joe Rodon at Blundell Park.
Midfielder Andrews joined on loan from Bristol City before Wednesday’s transfer deadline, while Rodon completed a temporary switch from Swansea earlier in the week.
Defender Taylor Moore and forward Danny Wright remain unavailable as they each serve the second game of three-match bans following their dismissals against Mansfield.
Forward Sanmi Odelusi, who has not featured since January 6, could return from injury, but Jordan Cranston (hamstring), Jordon Forster (Achilles) and Jaanai Gordon (knee) are long-term absentees.
