The Benfica striker played the full 90 minutes this afternoon as Serbia lost their first game of the tournament 2-0 to Portugal in Poland.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City were all linked with the 20-year-old last summer but he opted to join Benfica on a free transfer.

He is the youngest player to to be capped by Serbia and was the youngest captain in Partizan Belgrade's history.

But he had a poor season for Benfica, with no goals in 16 appearances.

Nevertheless Portuguese newspaper Record say Arsenal are still tracking his progress.

It is claimed the Gunners have several scouts in Poland watching players like Zivkovic.

No approach has been made for the player, who has a £52.5million release clause.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is determined to bolster his attacking options with Kylian Mbappe and Alexandre Lacazette also linked with this season's FA Cup winners.
