Arsenal made new attempt for Juventus defender Daniele Rugani

Arsenal have made a new attempt for Juventus defender Daniele Rugani.

Calciomercato.com says the Gunners sounded out Juve about Rugani over the New Year.

Arsenal were prepared to pay up to €30m to sign the young stopper.

However, Juventus have no intention of letting him go, seeing the 22-year-old as the future of their back line.

He already has two senior Italy caps and this season scored three goals in 16 competitive appearances.
