Jose Mourinho: The real reason Man United boss was unhappy after EFL cup triumph

Jose Mourinho had more important things on his mind when Manchester United lifted the EFL Cup trophy
MANCHESTER UNITED manager Jose Mourinho was visibly subdued after clinching the EFL Cup on Sunday.
The boss appeared less excited than the rest of his United team after Zlatan Ibrahimovic's late header against Southampton earned a 3-2 win.
Mourinho now has two pieces of silverware since arriving at Old Trafford just last summer, following up August's Community Shield triumph over Leicester.
After the game at Wembley, Jose Mourinho insisted he was happy and claimed lifting the trophy was all about his players.
But the reason behind the Portuguese's placid persona has emerged.
According to the Daily Star, Mourinho's father is in poor health and was unable to attend the EFL Cup final.
He was concerned for dad Felix who had to stay in Portugal rather than travel to London for his son's first major final as United boss.
The 76-year-old was apparently in and out of hospital last term while Mourinho was managing Chelsea.
And his well-being has become poorer again.
Felix had been attendance before when Mourinho won his three EFL Cups and one FA Cup with the Blues.
As a result, the manager was understandably emotional after Manchester United's victory, who is said to have spent last night in west London with family.
