The Golden Boy sings!

It has been quite a calendar year for Renato Sanches!

First there was winning the league with Benfica before a huge transfer to Bayern Munich having been tracked by Manchester United for so long.

Renato Sanches won Euro 2016 in the summer with Portugal and also won the prestigious Golden Boy award handed out by Italian newspaper Tuttosport.

On Sunday, Bayern Munich start their Bundesliga match at Darmstadt 98 six points behind leaders RB Leipzig.

Playing the very bottom side in the Bundesliga is not expected to be a problem for Carlo Ancelotti's side who seems to be slowly improving after an uncertain start.

The 19-year-old has not played much in the Bundesliga so far but any thoughts that Renato Sanches was doing some sort of initiation are ruled out as he went to Mainz last time out.

His birthday is in August.

Perhaps Renato Sanches just lost a bet for this singing at Bayern Munich pre Darmstadt 98?

The Portuguese press have already labelled this as “Renato Sanches proving he has conquered the Bayern squad.”
