GHOST: Shock for Monday Night Football viewers as a ball boy with no face was spotted
Footage captured during West Brom's Premier League clash with Burnley last night appeared to show a lad headless or have no face.
The spooky sight was seen as Johann Berg Gudmundsson stepped up to take a corner during Sean Dyche's side's 4-0 defeat at The Hawthorns.
Two ball boys can be seen behind the Icelandic international – but one stood out.
The one the left appears to be faceless.
There was a barrage of tweets about the mysterious ball boy – particularly as the one on the right carried on conversing with him as normal.
One wrote: "Why is West Brom's ball boy a Sith lord?"
While another said: "Last seen at sleepy hollow, it's the headless bellboy of the Albion."
It provided a talking point to take away some attention from Burnley's frightening performance.
And this isn't the first time Monday Night Football has been plagued by the paranormal.
A "ghost" appeared behind Phil Neville and Jamie Carragher during the post-match analysis.
