Though the first half against Malaga wasn't precisely any reason for celebration, Barcelona honoured their ten year deal with UNICEF by putting the spotlight on the disenfranchised kids who the organisation has helped over the past decade.
The partnership has been a source of pride for Catalans and culers across the globe, though it controversially no longer holds as an important a place on the kits themselves as other more commercial venues have become necessary.
A resolute Malaga defence holding out so far, perhaps the enthusiasm of the biggest kid of all is what has been missed most of all - that childlike genius of Lionel Messi.
