Neymar Announces He'll Start A New Surprising Career Next Week

Neymar has announced that he is set to launch a music career this week, with the Barcelona superstar obviously planning for life after football.

The Brazilian - fresh from winning Olympic gold during the summer - was on the bench for Barca's 2-1 defeat at home to newly-promoted Alaves last night, and probably had other matters on his mind anyway.

The news was announced via his official Twitter account and, according to Spanish newspaper AS, Neymar, 24, will release his first set of songs this coming Wednesday, indicating that despite his hectic career, the striker has been planning and preparing for this for some time.

Telling his 25 million followers about his new venture, Neymar even included the cringeworthy hashtag #Neymusico too and, apparently, we can expect the new tunes to drop via his Facebook account.
