Villa tries his hand at baseball

Former Spanish international David Villa has spent the day trying his hand at one of the United States of America's favourites pastimes, baseball.

The New York City FC striker received some classes from New York Yankees player Didi Gregorious at the famous Yankee Stadium, which is shared by both sports clubs.

Following a recent upturn in form, Villa now finds himself at the top of the MLS goal scoring charts alongside Sebastian Giovinco.
