West Ham players rip into Aaron Cresswell after his hilarious Goals on Sunday appearance

But that quality doesn’t seem to have rubbed off on his public speaking skills.

The West Ham left back – who is sidelined for four months after an injury sustained in pre-season – was a guest on Sky’s Goals on Sunday show with Chris Kamara, Ben Shephard and Jonathan Woodgate.

And viewers were quick to notice Cresswell repeating the phrase “you know” a ridiculous amount of times on the live TV show.

He practically put it into every sentence he said, making it impossible for viewers to hear anything else.

STAR: The defender was voted West Ham's player of the season in 2015

In just 30 seconds, the Liverpudlian says the two words an incredible 16 times.

And it wasn’t just fans who mocked the player for his distracting appearance.

His club captain Mark Noble took tweeted: “Geezer stick a few of them ‘you knows’ in that rascal jumper with 30 pockets.”

Not one to back down from a fight though, Cresswell responded with: “Get an early night Mark, you’ve got two months before you’re bald.”

But he was trolled yet again by West Ham's Andy Carroll: “‘YOU KNOW’ you're the little full back I like to flatten!!”

To be fair to the Hammers defender, he hasn’t done many live interviews and he was clearly nervous about being in the limelight.

His West Ham side kick start their Premier League campaign away at Chelsea tonight (August 15).
