Conte to ban Pizza, fizzy drinks and tomato sauce at Chelsea

Well, Antonio Conte is the latest to follow suit as he has banned pizza, fizzy drinks, tomato ketchup and brown sauce from Chelsea’s staff canteen.

The former Italy manager demands a lot from his players on the field and to improve his squad’s fitness he has stripped these notoriously fatty foods as part of their strict new diet.

Previous managers have allowed players to pile on the carbs with a post-match pizza but Conte is keeping the players to a strict food plan.

It’s not only sauces and fizzy drinks that have faced the chop either, as he is swapping cereal, eggs and pasta for chicken and salad.

The reason for the change of the brunch menu, is because Conte felt his Chelsea players were bloated when they stepped onto the pitch.
