Cristiano Ronaldo's new hotel welcomes guests with motivational quotes

Inspirational quotes, personalized fitness services and high-tech gadgetry are among the highlights of Cristiano Ronaldo's newly launched Pestana CR7 Lisbon hotel.

The hotel is the second in Ronaldo's collaboration with the Pestana hotel group, with the first having been inaugurated in Funchal on his native Madeira two weeks ago.

Located in an affluent section of downtown Lisbon, the Pestana CR7 Lisbon hotel offers spendid views of the Tagus River, in addition to a range of high-end amenities.

Guests setting foot in the art-deco hotel will be greeted by the message that perhaps best sums up the player's relationship with football fans - "Your love makes me strong. Your hate makes me unstoppable."

The hotel is equipped with a gym, complete with a personal trainer service, perhaps unsurprising given Ronaldo's own obsession with fitness, as well as a spa and massage facility.

All 82 rooms come equipped with high-speed Internet, Apple TVs and speakers, while the exclusive 'CR7 suite' will also include a PlayStation 4 console and virtual reality glasses.

With the two Portugal hotels launched, the Pestana CR7 chain will now turn its attention to upcoming projects in Gran Via in Madrid, and then in New York, near the iconic Central Park.

The locations of the hotels are being chosen so as to pay tribute to the cities that have most tellingly marked the Real Madrid star's life.
