Rakitic: No one can stop us from smiling

After his family had to flee their holiday home when it was attacked by a group of violent fans, Ivan Rakitic has made it clear that no one can destroy his vacation.

It was on Friday that six youngsters decided to attack the Croatian stars home as he was enjoying his holiday.

The attackers threw stones at the luxury villa destroying both windows and the door before fleeing.

However, the Barcelona midfielder is not letting the incident cloud his enjoyment and took to Instagram on Saturday to make that clear.

"Enjoying family vacation, no once can stop us from smiling," the caption read, alongside a picture of him, his wife and their daughters.

Before going on holiday, the 28-year-old helps his country to the last 16 of the European Championship where they eventually knocked out by Portugal.
