Alan Pulido kidnapping 'masterminded by his cousin's husband'

This story just seems to rumble on.

And I'm backing  Messrs Tarantino, Spielberg etc to look at the timeline of events and see it as their next Hollywood blockbuster.

It's that crazy.

Over the weekend, you may have heard about the horrific kidnapping of Mexico and Olympiakos striker Alan Pulido by a masked gang.

News then broke of Pulido's escape, but only later did it emerge that he had to disarm one of his attackers and shoot him to get away.

And, if that wasn't enough, more recent reports have claimed that the kidnapping was in fact commissioned by Pulido's cousin's husband.

The cousin's husband is now accused of belonging to one of Mexico's most notorious gangs dedicated to drug trafficking and extortion.

That sure is going to make it awkward around the dinner table at Christmas…
