The Foxes' Premier League title win has sent shockwaves around the world.

Blistering form from Claudio Ranieri’s men has stunned pundits and proved all the doubters wrong.

The players and the city have already partied hard.

But fans waiting for captain Wes Morgan to lift the trophy are promising to make so much noise, the UK will be hit by a massive earthquake.

Leicester fan Ali Azizi told Daily Star Online: “We’ve won the league now let’s cause a real stir. We could move the stadium!”

While Christian Bishop added: "Bring on the Vardyquake!"

Fans have made shockwaves before – as earth-shattering sound from Leicester’s King Power stadium caused a localised earthquake in February.

The tremor was attributed to a "sudden energy release" made by Foxes supporters when Leonardo Ulloa scored a last minute winner against Norwich.

The noise came from a combination of stamping feet, the sound of cheering, clapping and the collective energy of the crowd's roar.

And last month, Daily Star Online exclusively revealed how the team of seismologists believed a league title could trigger a massive UK earthquake.

Adam Harper, part of the University of Leicester team who installed a seismometer near the ground, concedes a Foxes title win could "rock the country".

He told Daily Star Online: "The game against Everton could be massive.

"We're expecting a party atmosphere as Leicester celebrate their first league title.

"With the excitement, we could see our largest ever reading on our seismographs.

"Ulloa's goal rocked the city of Leicester, a league title could rock the country."

In February, they recorded an earthquake with a magnitude of 0.3 on the Richter scale and it was dubbed the "Vardyquake" after star striker Jamie Vardy.

Adam added: “The team is made up of Geoscience students from the University of Leicester who's aim is to measure and record seismic activity.

"Our main focus is the impact of goal celebrations at the King Power Stadium.

"It started out with seismometers in a school close to the stadium but we then picked up on the traces from the King Power and correlated them with match goal times.

"The seismic activity we record is like that of an earthquake, and during every match our team is watching the game and monitoring the seismometers at the University.”

Between 200 and 300 earthquakes are detected in the UK every year but only 30 of those are strong enough to be felt.
