WENGER OUT: Arsene Wenger looks pained as Arsenal fans protest against his management
A small group of Gooners have decided enough is enough and agreed to publicly call for the long-serving manager to go at the Gunners’ game against Norwich this afternoon.
They held up banners declaring “time for change,” “Wenger out” and “Support the team not the regime” at the Emirates Stadium.
But Wenger’s backers drowned them out with choruses of "One Arsene Wenger" and "We Love You Arsenal".
DEMONSTRATION: Arsenal fans held up banners from the 12th minute
UNHAPPY: Fans protested outside the Emirates too
The low-key civil war “erupting” like a wet fart amused other fans no end.
People took to Twitter to compare the outraged Gooners to Delboy and Rodney, Homer Simpson,a pair of girls fighting and the Lib Dems.
WENGER BOY: One fan even staged a counter protest
Wenger, who has managed Arsenal for 20 years, has faced criticism after failing to win the Premier League since 2003-04.
But we’re not sure he will be expecting his P45 any time soon.
